Hence, there is no real 'official' position with regard to it at this point in time. That's why the good minister could not make a commitment - either for or against that policy - since there is no officially accepted position within the government anymore. I think the real lesson - and worry - is that this government does not really know how to retire obsolete policies gracefully, preferring instead to let those they no longer like be quietly forgotten.
